Chinese dumplings
Jiaozi (Chinese Dumplings)
Filled with vegetables and/or meat, jiaozi – or Chinese dumplings – are common street foods. They are shaped like ancient gold ingots, which were believed to bring you good luck. In China dumplings usually refers to boiled dumplings and they are often eaten with a dip of soy-vinegar sauce for flavor. One bite releases a mouthful of hot, juicy broth that reaches every sense on the tongue, creating an explosive mixture of flavors. Jiaozis are eaten all throughout the year, but more so on Chinese New Years.

A wonton (Mandarin: húntun) is a type of Chinese dumpling commonly found across regional styles of Chinese cuisine.
Wonton(普通話:hunntun)是一種中國dumpling,常見于地域風味的中國菜中。
包子
Baozi (Chinese: 包子), or bao, is a type of yeast-leavened filled bun in various Chinese cuisines. There are many variations in fillings (meat or vegetarian) and preparations, though the buns are most often steamed. They are a variation of mantou from Northern China.
If dumplings are laid flatly on a pan, first steamed with a lid on and with a thin layer of water, then fried in oil after the water has been evaporated, they are called guotie (鍋貼, literally translates to "potstickers"). The same dumplings are called jiaozi if they are just steamed or boiled.
把餃子平鋪在平底鍋上油炸之后的菜肴被稱為guotie(鍋貼,翻譯成potstickers)。
